Image upload working for categories but not for product images.

Using version 1.3 on windows2003

Adding an Image to a category works fine. Image is uploaded and shown on the website.

but adding the same Image to a products does not work. The image is not uploaded and nothing shown on the product page.

I have set debug to ON. but when i add an image on the product page it says: Update successful
So there is no error but the image is not added.

Any clues ?

Could be a permissions issue. Make sure that img, and img/p are both chmod 755 (or the unsafe chmod 777 on older servers).
