"get list params is not valid" - No text in backend - URGENT

Hi, after reinstalling after the hack attempt message appeared, I now have no text in the Backend. I only have this message: "get list params is not valid" on nearly all the tabs...

Initially I couldnt login to the backend becasue the cookie key was changed in the installation. I have changed the passwords in the DB so that they allow me to login... however upon me logging in the backend only displays the afformentioned message. The frontend is conecting to the DB becasue all pictures and text is there. The backend is too becasue the order details are shown on the home screen... so what are "param lists" and why are they screwing up the backend?

Once again my boss is about to break my legs, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorted... Database corruption had set default language to 0... changed back to appropriate language and of we goooooooooo!

in tools->tabs.... i not see tabs
