Explicit Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 All, This is not a complaint, a call for help or a bug report, but something more like an FYI, hoping that you do not make the same mistakes as I did... :-) I have obtained all the necessary info to configure the module from the PayPal site. However, if I selected the "Website Payments Pro" I got the error shown in the following screenshot ...but if I selected "Website Payments Standard " the following happened: Error occurred: Please try to contact the merchant: <b>PayPal response:</b> TIMESTAMP -> 2018-01-12T20:32:20Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error The ERRORCODE0 10002 is the clue here: https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/business/article/why-did-i-get-api-error-code-10002-ts1030 Be extremely careful when you copy & paste your API credentials as sometimes an extra space character is added.
