Configuration of the Shipping and Carrier

Hello,

I have created 2 shipping carriers
1. Ship by Airmail
2. Ship by Air Parcel

Since some of the product I sell could only sent by "Air Parcel". Could I pre-defined at each product about thier available carrier? (i.e. Product A is ok for carrier 2 only, product B is ok for both 1 or 2 carriers...)

There is no option to do that in PrestaShop. It would be difficult to do, since you'd need to add a new field to the product table to define a carrier for each product.

IMHO, this is a major shortcoming of PS. One hack/workaround to your problem (short of actually doing what rocky suggested) is to manipulate item weights carefully (so it does not affect the shipment cost) and also the weight processed by each carrier, creating copies of relevant carriers for different weight categories. Though that is PITA if you have a great number of products; you need a perfect understanding of the each carrier's tariffs
