(SOLVED) There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!

i keep checking in the forum .. and i still have not found the answer!!
i have done everything possible, and have been struggling with this for a while.

please please help
i keep getting this message when doing a test order

There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!

after trying to figure it out for like 3 hours (LOL),..it was something very simple.
for those that have gone crazy dealing with this.. and everything was selected.. try doing this:

select shipping tab..

scroll down and select "save" under fees.

for some reason that worked for me..even though everything was set, selected, (zones, carriers, etc,etc,etc)..all it was for me was to select save under fees.

I have 2 carriers and I had a similar issue where one worked and the other did not, I clicked save and it did not work, however when I changed the drop down to the carrier at fault and clicked save it worked.

So thanks for the tip, I was going a little mad :)

One other thought on this topic:

 

I tried everything here and could not get it to work. Finally got it by going to Shipping > Carriers selecting the carrier(s) that I wanted to use. There is a setting in the carrier page called "Group Access." For some reason, the default setting on my store was set to have nothing selected. Solved the problem by simply checking "Default" and saving the settings.

 

Thought I would share.

I am not able to locate this. Prestashop 1.6.0.6. please help
