gangell
Hello,I took over a position at my company. The previous person downloaded and installed/modified the Prestashop site. Now I have to make changes but don’t have any php knowledge. I do have HTMl and CSS knowledge. Anyways I would like to add pages to our top navigation bar that have various functions. As you can see at my site, we have tabs for Home, Catagories, Products, Cart, Schedule, Parts Guide and Contact Us. How to I go about adding another tab/page to the top nav bar? Also, how would I go about making that page function how I would like to, such as adding forms and modules?I apologize for this possibly being very vague, it’s because my skill level with PrestaShop is still very poor.http://www.aspenequipment.com/catalog/shopping/ Thank you! rocky
I'm not familiar with that theme, but it looks like the menu is in themes/Electronix/header.tpl. You'll need to edit the menu in there.
gangell
Is there a way to add pages to the Menu from the back end of Presta Shop, instead of going in and coding the pages?
rocky
No, it's not possible to edit the menu items from the Back Office with that theme. You'd have to install a menu module like the Top Horizontal Menu and then delete the theme's menu code, but then the menu will look different than it currently does.
