404 error with SSL after moving server

My hosting company moved my websites to a new server with new static IP addresses etc. Everything works fine until SSL is used than all I get is a 404 error message that the page has been moved or the server is down. My hosting company is scratching its head and I am really frustrated because everything was working great before.
Any idea what triggered the SSL error? Even if I put https://mydomain.com I get the same message. Do I have to change something somewhere related to SSL when a website is moved?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!!

Any one out there who may know the answer? Do I have to change something in .htaccess?
Where is prestashop looking for folders when http changed to https? Hoe come that all of a sudden it cannot find order.php when it is clearly in the directory?

Thanks. I ended up getting the hosting company to move everything back to its original - or I was going to move hosting company! Then when it was done I was having a different type of error. Everything worked perfect when https://mydomain.com was entered in the address bar but "database link not found" error appeared when entering http://mydomain.com

I was so mad with the hosting company - they were constantly asking for clarification on the error! - hey, how about if you just click on my domains and see what error message comes up! - but they were too stupid to do that.
Finally got the problem resolved - level 3 people sorted it out - but not to this day I have a clue what they did to mess things up. :(
