eileensiow Posted August 2, 2010 Share Posted August 2, 2010 i just upgraded my installation following the prestashop tutorial.. i backed up my mysql database and even my prestashop folder in my ftp to my hdd..i renamed the old version and kept it in my web host while uploading the new prestashop files..after installing and everything.. i can view my online shop in the new version.. however, all my products, images, pages are missing.. am i missing something?? Did the upgrade exactly as the guide says and the new store seemed fine until I came to click on a product page and it went to a blank page with an error. rocky Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Upload a blank .htaccess file with chmod 666 permissions to the root of your server if one doesn't already exist, then go to Tools > Generators and click the "Generate .htaccess file" button.
