AFter installation,products,imgs etc missing

i just upgraded my installation following the prestashop tutorial.. i backed up my mysql database and even my prestashop folder in my ftp to my hdd..

i renamed the old version and kept it in my web host while uploading the new prestashop files..

after installing and everything.. i can view my online shop in the new version.. however, all my products, images, pages are missing..

am i missing something??

I ad the same problem. Did the upgrade exactly as the guide says and the new store seemed fine until I came to click on a product page and it went to a blank page with an error. No products.

HTTP 404 - File not found

Please help.

Figured it out for myself in the end. Had to create a new .htaccess file.

Shame I or eileensiow got no replies helping about this one though.

Upload a blank .htaccess file with chmod 666 permissions to the root of your server if one doesn't already exist, then go to Tools > Generators and click the "Generate .htaccess file" button.
