dead wrong
ok this is the first that i have tested PS and I'm already stuck before I started. I installed the files to my hosting site. I gave the files specified in the guide the right permissions. I try to go to the browser to install I just come up with a blank page. I'm sure what I missed along the line. Any advice would help. Thanks in advance

rocky
You might not have PHP5 activated. It is hard to know without an error message. Try editing config/config.inc.php and temporarily changing 'display_errors' from 'off' to 'on' so that you get an error message instead of a blank page. rocky
I just did a Google search and it seems Yahoo Hosting doesn't support PHP 5. While osCommerce works on PHP 4, PrestaShop does not. It requires at least PHP 5.2. You'll need to find another host.
