B2B More customer information need

Hi we are running a B2B wholesale site and would like to be able to add more information about a customer.

How would we go about adding new fields to enable us to manually enter extra information about the customer ie. company registration number, vat number and notes about the customer that will show up on the backend of the customer page.

Any help would be appreciated

The best way to go about this half mod and a very simple module.
Mod:
You need to manually add the fields to you registration page.
Then edit your authentication and validation files to add. And validate those fields.

Module: display the extra information on the customer backend/order admin page

If you coc has a api you would implement that in the module so you can check whether a customer is real or not
Not having to go to the website each time or vat api from vies

The thing is i dont remember if there is a hook in the admincustomer page

(My Vat module works now completely done just need to get rid of development comments and flags and logs

Since uk has company name. Address information in the vat database i might add that to it.
