Smileweb
Hi guys! Great job you do here. But there is a huge bug concerning greek language encoding.Lets have an example... word KOTA (means chicken in greek) in all web browsers appears correct -KOTA-but if you see the code of the page then KOTA appears as Kappa, Omicron, Tau, Alpha. And ofcource google and other engines does not recognize the word kappaomicrontaualpha!I believe this has to do with the encoding used in both html and database! Please see also the attached photo.I beg for your attention and solution asap.Thank you
kolomvos
Hi, I think I found the solution, you can edit the header.tpl file and delete all the |escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'.Then change the charset from UTF-8 to Windows-1253 of ISO-8859-7It works then, at least for me. Change the meta tags from the back office and check the page source afterwards. All the strange html characters have changed and now it will be displayed properly. However, you have to save again all the products and info you have entered.Check my page source and look at the title and meta keywords here http://www.samalcosmetics.gr/eshop/prestashop
