minimum order / order by pairs

first I'll will like to thank the developer for such us great shopping cart !!!! Be sure I'll donate soon!

I have an online store where I'm selling cuvettes /cells and they can not be sold by units, instead I'll like to have a drop down list in pairs ( 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12.... etc_)

I searched the forum and they are some solutions but they no longer work with 1.3.1 version.

What would be an easy way to implement this?

(price must be by unit on the front end, for marketing reasons!)
