Link not working on home slider

I'm confused on adding links in the AN Theme Blocks. In the Home Sliders, the link field has a # sign by default and I replaced it with the link to the new products page but nothing happens when the Shop Now button is clicked on. I thought it was because I was using Chrome but no matter what browser I use, the link doesn't work. Then, I thought, maybe it's because I'm only using one image so I tried using two so they'd rotate ... but still nothing ... the button doesn't work. If you hover over the button, the link doesn't display in the bottom of the browser either. Is there something I'm missing in setup?

Also, I've noted that in IE, the text and Shop Now button don't center on the page, it always goes to the left margin of the browser page. It is in the center of the image for all other browsers, including Edge and Chrome.
