rekcuf
I'm having trouble with my prestashop install (Version 1.3.1.1). I can't upload any images at all, whether it's a banner, header image, or product image. I manually uploaded header image to \prestashop\img\logo.jpg and that works, but if I try to upload from the back office (Preferences > Appearance), it doesn't work. When I browse the image and click save this is what I get:Same problem if I try to add product images. This is really frustrating. My local install on WAMP is working sweet and I have the whole shop setup perfectly, but now I'm doing the install on proper hosting and no images work All that work might go to waste... rekcuf
Well, problem solved!Called up the hosting company and they installed a php.ini file inside the prestashop directory which fixed everything. Now happily uploading images Security was too tight on the server

jarvispc
Also what directory exactly did you put the php.ini file?
jarvispc
Nevermind I just fixed it the php.ini file had a statement that said file_uploads = "Off" so I changed it to On and it works now
rekcuf
They put it inside the prestashop directory (if you have one, otherwise in the root) and the prestashop admin directory.Attached the PHP.ini file. php.zip
moonmosaic
I had the same problem - exactly the same half blank page - when the images I was uploading were too large. Once I resized them everything uploaded just fine.
suspectx86
Please help me!!!I got the same problem... I contacted the helpdesk of my provider they weren't that helpful, even after I posted this forum. They told me that they can't override the php.ini, because my site is running on a linux server. So I don't know wich part of the script is causing the trouble, but I came with my own solution. At least I think it might work, to delete the code wich checks if my picture is a PNG or JPG etc. Leaving the function blank.Problem is where do I find that part of the script, I'm looking for hours and still can't find nothing. Please help...
