Please help: missing Add to Cart, missing Custom Text Blocks editing function

I'm not a developer and I'm running out of options. I have upgraded to 1.7.2.4 in the hope of this fixing the problems. It hasn't.

Please can I have some guidance on how to get products to show the Add to Cart option. I'm not using attributes or features. I have enabled the shop. I have configured Payment by Invoices and Bank Transfer.

Also the Custom Text Block and Image Slider modules won't show me the text/description blocks - so i can't change anything. I've cleared cache. I can see there's a ticket on Prestashop (BOOM4220) that shows this has been unresolved for at least one other user since early November 2017.

Since the latter option has had a really slow response from Prestashop is it likely to ever get fixed? If this involves anything php / css related, I'd be grateful for step by step guidance.

Add to Cart - solved. I clicked No to Catalog Mode in the Shop Parameters > Product Settings page. Easy. Still no progress on Custom Text Blocks. I stayed on the phone for ages and spoke to a very nice guy... he asked me to email him details about the same issue as BOOM4220. But sadly his email address bounced back. Still looking for help on Custom Text Blocks and their missing Text Blocks (also missing Summary and Description text blocks in Products and missing Description in the Image Slider.

 

I'd log it all  on The Forge but it won't accept me as a new or current user.  Can anyone offer help??

Found the answer.  Clear the browser history. Maybe this seems obvious to others but it took me a few days to look beyond Prestashop. Have to do the same on all browsers, it's a repeating problem. Hope someone finds this helpful - maybe test it out as a resolution to BOOM-4220 in The Forge.
