rmcmonigal
I am running a test environment on Vista. I had to create the settings.inc.php file inside the config folder. Then I right clicked on the file and chose properties. Then I clicked on the security tab, clicked edit, then clicked add (and now you should be at a box that's labeled Select Users or Groups. ) In the box type IUSR and click ok. Then choose the IUSR user and check the box labeled full control. Then I clicked OK twice, and the install finished. Hope that helps.Thanks,Robwww.cheapcharliesbilliards.com(a work in progress, but almost there!)
