TECHNICAL ERROR :unable to save account Details:Error thrown: [object Object]

Hi!

I am having this issue during the  check-out process: 

TECHNICAL ERROR :unable to save account  Details:Error  thrown: [object Object]

When opening the console to get more information it says: 

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()

send @ jquery-1.11.0.min.js:4

 

my prestashop version is 1.6.1.12

I also amended "opc_new_account" file to delete files such as ID required of DOB. Not sure if that's the problem as I have tried by restoring that page with the backup I made before applying changes but still showing the same problem  ( TECHNICAL ERROR :unable to save account  Details:Error  thrown: [object Object] )

Can someone help me please? I have been reading a lot of posts of people with the same problem and tried different things they were suggesting in those posts but cannot solve it.
