bikermickyc
Hi, I have just copy and pasted all the prestashop files for one of our websites and pasted them into our webspace on the file we want to point to our domain. Now we have pointerd the domain to the webspace folder with all the new files in but it is still bringing up the domain that we copied all the files from. What we want to do is to have both up and running but have one with one type of products (car parts) and another one up for another set of products (motorcycle parts) is this possible with copying and pasting all the files or would we have to do a clean new install again? The original url is custom-cruisers.eu And the new url that we pasted all the files to is bmw-windshields.com Any advice would be helpful Thanks
Rhobur
Recreate the .htaccess or change the domain within manually. Also make sure you changed the domain info in the PS admin Preferences->SEO & URL or if that not accessible, directly into the DB, configuration and shop_url tables;

Would doing a clean install do the job to the new URL? Sorry for the lack of knowledge in the subject but this is the first one we're trying out. TiaNex Shopping
it's quite easy, just copy all the web files and database to the new , edit table ps_configuration domain and domain_ssl to the new domain edit table ps_shop_url to the new ,
