Product category in products-comparison.tpl

Hi,

On my website, every product without img will display the img of the default_category instead.

I figured out how to do it everywhere except in products-comparison.tpl. I cant figure out a way to get the product default_category. I think its  because products-comparison.tpl works only with the infos you should need which exclude the product category. So $product in this page doesnt have any category set.

I have some ideas but i'm not sure which one would be the best.

Create a new function to retrieve an id_category from an id_product? Something like getCategory(id_product) ? Where?
