Redirect to shop when trying to view Admin Catalog page

I just want to say that I am somehow experienced in installing scripts on my server. I tried installing Prestashop two times and had the same bug.

Installation goes fine until I hit a loop with the Onboarding module. The resume button does not work and the installation is stuck at 7%. Regardless I am able to access my admin panel.

I can go to any admin page and to my shop however when trying to view the admin catalogue page or the product page I am redirected to my shop! 

I tried various configuration setup that is not working. I have zero JS errors and nothing much is written on the logs. 

I am on Ubuntu 16.04, php 7 and running nginx (with no redirect) with ssl. 

I checked the permissions and all seems fine too.

 

Anyone with the same issue? What's the next step ?

I found the solution...

Nginx and symphony don't go well together so you need a rewrite of your admin folder.
