url Removing language prefix after domain URL in Prestashop 1.7.2.x

Hello guys,

i have installed after a long time using 1.5.4.1 the new 1.7.2.x and bought a theme and trying to customize.

I have noticed that if i have english plus one another language, the shop always will have a url like DOMAIN/xx/pagename

I would like to remove this language prefix but by keeping english as language for the back office interface.

(seems you cannot have a disabled language for back office and another language for front office)

Does anyone have any idea where i should go to "touch" things up?

You can have a disabled language for BO and the enabled one for FO.

You need to first disable the language and after that go to your employee profile and change the language to the disabled one.

You just made my day!

I had tried disabling the english language from the store but i saw that it reverted me to the second language in the back office and didnt go to try select again the english.

So, it seems that it works.

And like this at least i can get "rid off" the /xx/ prefix since i am using only 1 language on the front face.

Well, what i notice now is that in this situation, i cannot edit this disabled language for product properties.

Would be nice to be able to do that too while language is disabled for front office.
