characterdriven
For some reason the admin email and password that had worked previously will not allow me into the back end. Added to this problem is the fact that I have tried to get my password emailed to me and am told that it was sent, but having tried several times have never received an email message with the information. In desperation I went to the DB and added another password via MD5 pw generator for the password I was using (didn't work) then changed to another pw (didn't work), then changed both email and pw and still didn't get the email and can't log in. Frustrating. On another note, I can't access any of the forum topics if logged in, but can do so if not logged in so accessed this information then logged in to write this message.Any help is greatly appreciated as my site was all but set up: www.narnia-productions.com and don't want the time spent to this point to be wasted. Thanks so much.
TropischBruin
What you could do is make a clean install on a local Pc using Apache2Triad.After a succesfull install export the admin-user table from that new-installed db and import this via PHPMyAdmin in you problemed shop (after you have deleted the wrong Admin-suer table).Succes! characterdriven
I took the table from an install where back end works and replaced the 'narnia-productions' install, but still won't work. I need to know if I'm working with the right table: ps_employee
TropischBruin
Is there a problem just doing a clean install again?
Paul C
I had a similar situation recently. I found that I could however log in using a different browser. Deleting the cookies in the problem browser fixed it.Paul
