I need to know a plugin that helps me respond to the following functionality:

If the cart contains products of category A - x is the price per kilo (total of car)

If the cart contains products of category B - y is the price per kilo (total of car)

If the cart has products A and B the price is y per kilo (total of car) (Because y it is the highest value of the two shipments)

I have now configured 2 carriers, each with the € / kilo intervals. And it assigns to each product the corresponding carrier.

When does it malfunction? When I have both types of categories in the same cart, instead of applying the highest value per kilo to the entire order, it adds up the shipping value for each of the categories.

Ex:
Product A € 5 up to 25kg
Product B € 7 up to 25kg

Cart: 5kg of A + 5kg of B

Current: € 12
Intended: € 7

@ sofg - if you configure your products by using ALL carriers, than you can choose the out of range behaviour, by using the highest value. So the only thing you need to do, is to add to your products ALL carriers (and not only one specific). Than in cart you will have no sum of the carriers and the behavior you want. Only one carrier with highest price.

You also need to have for all carriers the same ranges of weight, otherwise it will fail.
