Using PrestaShop to sell photographs

Recommended Posts

Hi

First of all this is my first post here, I discovered PrestaShop earlier this week and have been playing around with the backend system just to get some sort of familararity.

However I've got a question or two to ask, so if somone can help me I'd be extremly greatful.

At the moment I'm looking for a solution for a friend who wishes to sell her photographs online, now I could set her website simply using paypal, but I think a shopping cart like PrestaShop is the way to go.

She wants to sell prints rather than allow people to download them so her requirements are thus:

1) To be able to input the size of the image

2) To have the option for printing one either glossy, matt or satin paper

3) To have it framed or unframed.

As I've only been toying with the back end system a shor while, I'd like know if it's possible to reproduce the above.

One last question before I go does anyone have an example site done with PrestaShop?

Thanks for reading

Regards

Patrick

This is a perfect example of the Attributes /Combination system. I have a tutorial to show you how to add 1, 2 or N amout of attributes.

A size is and attibute group,
A frame is a attribute group
A printing paper finsh is a attribute group

check out my tutorial

Tutorial 3!

If you need a specific video it would be cool to make 2. "Real world example".

But check out this video first!
