Change "from" address in mailalert mail

I would like to change the senders e-mailadres in the "new order" mail coming from the "mailalerts" module. 

I would like it be the mailadres from the client who has submitted the order. So when I have to contact him quickly, I just have to hit "reply" in my mailbox.

Anyone experience with this change?

This is not going to be possible, due to the way that Email Servers work.  It is called mail relay, and most email servers would see this as a SPAM attempt, and most others will reject the mail, since the customers email is not authorized to use YOUR mail server.

Instead of changing the From address to the customers email, you can use the "reply to" feature of sending emails instead.

This way the mail is sent from a valid email address, and when you receive and click on reply, it would use the customers address

Note that your reply will not appear in the back office customer service thread if you do this.

As for actually making this change, it will require a customization or possibly an override of the mailalerts module class file
