Payment methods order

Hi,

With Prestashop 1.7.2.3, I've been trying to change the order of payment methods during check-out but couldn't find a solution.

I've been re-ordering the positions of payment methods (as shown in the attached screenshot) but this didn't impact the front-office.

Am I doing this wrong?

Did you clear cache after that?

Yes I did. All speed optimizations are disabled and I already cleared the cache a couple of times since I updated the order of payment methods, but I always get the same order in front-office.

I think you are using the wrong hook/position to re-order

In PS v1.7, the name of the position is paymentOptions

Thanks a lot!! I was using the search box to find all payment related positions, but just now I noticed the checkbox that displays invisible positions as well...

Yes, you need to check this option to show the hidden hook paymentOptions.

Display non-positionable hooks

It's on the top of the Positions page.

Section "paymentOptions" is hidden even if you check checkbox in PS 1.7.7.0,

Solution:
Use existing payment method as first step, then check checkbox and use CTRL+F to find "paymentOptions" section where you can drag to set order. After that clear cache.
