Cant' find the code?

I need to make the "popular products" thumbnail box longer on the home page.  I think that I found the code for the container box for PS 1.7 Classic theme in featuredproducts.scss.  I adjusted the pixel height saved uploaded and refreshed the cache.  Nothing happened to the box, I also deactivated featuredproducts.scss, refreshed the cache and nothing happened the boxes were still on the home page. 

I installed a review module and the review stars are below outside the box.  I would like to make the box longer to contain the stars.

Is there some other place I need to delete cache?

Do I have the correct file to increase the height of the box on the home page?

I would greatly appreciate some feedback.  Thanks for any help.

This way worked for me back then, see the css changes:

Around 6:15 onwards of the video. If theme.css is compressed, you can just copy the rule to custom.css and use !important to have it grab the new rule

There is a problem now the quick view does not work.  Is there any way to fix that?  I am using PS 1.7.2.3
