arnovandepas
Hello, I sell vouchers on my site (PS 1.7.2.2). Prestashop disables shipping costs by default for virtual products. But I need to charge a small fee for each download and have changed 'shipping charge' to 'service charge'. Does anybody know what I should change in Cart.php in PS 1.7.2.2 to make this charge show in cart? Thank you arnold
arnovandepas
Does nobody know how to do this?
bellini13
You cannot do this out of the box. You will need to try to find a module, or have someone implement this customization to your store.
arnovandepas
what would such a customization cost?
catalin.pop
Hello. From what I understand you want to change the ' Shipping charge ' text with "Service charge" text in your website template, so your clients can see Service charge but on back end everything is computed as shipping charge. Am I right?
arnovandepas
Hi. I already changed that, but do not know how to have these charges shown with downloadable products, because Prestashop does not charge shipping costs for virtual products. I've been reading and get the idea that some changes should be made to Cart.php, but these posts go back quite some years ago so Cart.php doesn't look the same any more Do you know what to do so that these fee gets charged for downloadable products?
