[solved] Customer registration has stopped working after upgrade to 1.3.1.1

My customer registration form has stopped working since upgrading to 1.3.1.1 (from 1.2.5.0) -

ISSUE - A new customer fills out the form correctly and tries to submit, they get the following error:

There is 1 small problem :
1. an error occurred while creating your account

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

do your server log files show any error?

solved - had to reinstall prestashop from scratch.

RICHT99 could you be more espicific, how did you solved it? I'm having the same trouble even though I upgraded from 1.3. to 1.3.1.

I just did a completely clean installation of 1.3.1.1 and then added my theme + Prestashop settings... It took a very long time and was a complete pain. I'm afraid I am still unsure what was actually causing the issue.

would have been your DB not being updated properly. I've just gone through all the code & head scratching to fix mine. All these problems are probably linked (registration issues current at the mo) and due to people updating only file structure and not DB structure at the same time..
