hellykun
Dear Prestashop community, I have found a major problem in our Prestashop 1.6.1.10 version. Suddenly, the specific prices tables rows get deleted and from 800 records, only 26 remain. Before two weeks we did not have any problems with the specific prices table. I uninstalled a recently installed module, but the problem still exists. This problem is strange because the database table has remaining records, after the "automatic" deletion of rows. Any ideas? musicmaster
There is one occasion where there are automatic entries and deletions in the specific prices table and that is with catalog rules. If you enter a catalog rule each product for which that applies will get an entry in the table. When you remove the product from that category its entry will be deleted. hellykun
Thank you for your reply and help. We do not have any catalogue rules for specific products, we only have free shipping based on client. I try to find which action deletes more than 770 records for 500 different products with no luck. hellykun
We have checked and found that when catalogue rules are used most of the specific prices table data gets deleted. Is there any way to avoid this deletion?
musicmaster
If you check the ps_specific_prices table you will see that it contains a column id_specific_price_rule. If that column is not zero the rule has been generated by that price rule and it might also be deleted by that rule if the situation changes. Suppose you have a rule that products in category 10 get a 15% discount. Then Prestashop will generate a rule for each of the products in that category. And if you move one product from category 10 to category 11 it will remove the rule for that product. hellykun
Thanks musicmaster this is a great reply. I have checked and the id_specific_rule is 0 to all my specific prices. So maybe the problem is generated by other actions.
musicmaster
Are you sure you don't have a module that does something similar as the catalogue rules?
hellykun
Thanks for your reply. No we do not have any other coupon / catalogue rules modules.
