Hey all,

I'm trying to report a 1.7x bug in the forge for the first time, but I have an issue on this page http://forge.prestashop.com/secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa

When I NEXT I get this error message.

Quote

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

FYI.

Thanks.

Sorry but I'm not able to see if you are blocking scripts in your firewall or browser firewall. If you are blocking JS than it could be run into error. Also http requests blocked can run into error. As webmaster you know that get and post should be work without interruptions....

Try another browser and if this also not work, than it is something local on your machine. Most of times firewall problem. And let me say as experienced user and IT-Technician, also firewall is a software which can have bugs, or understand something by error.

No one should ever disable their firewall just to access a website. To do so is an extremely bad idea as a firewall is a very important security tool.

Virus infects websites > Website now requires you to disable your security software > Website infects your computer with virus or ransomware > Hackers laugh at your foolishness.

This is how infections spread.

I'm not saying the Forge is infected, but the signs are not good and there is absolutely no way I'm going to take such a huge risk.

Thanks for taking the time to give your advice. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I'm also using firewall, but one reliable. Several wellknown cheap standard solutions are not really good. They have high false blocking rates.

Give a try with another browser, if this does not work, you can try to disable firewall for Prestashop and see if firewall is blocking by error the site.

I again confirm, that there is no problem with forge-site and server error when you post.

I am using Chromium  and have no issues with that page. But do try other way like going to

http://forge.prestashop.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

login in and then if you click Create it will give modal window, with different options.

I was already logged in there. Thats one page before the link I provided.

Thank anyway :) Have a great weekend.

Yes you should not disable firewall. On page you linked if you click next I got same error and same message.

But I asked you to try other way. Check this screenshot.

It is on same page you linked. Do not click next but that dark button with text "Create" in top menu.

Form should appear link in screenshot, you fill data and submit form. I just did with test report.
