How can I choose a different css for "O.O.S Product combinations" PS 1.6

Is it possible to, instead of disabling the "out of stock" product cominations, to give that combination a different class such as "disabled"
That way customers can see that we still do that option but are not tempted to click the option to then find its out of stock.
