What an absolute mess,

Prestashop 1.6 first had the bug that effected save in back office. So had to update to later version using one click

Now for some reason, every item when added to cart only takes the default   colour  / size etc

Also on product page, where  if you chose a design  or colour it would change the image it no longer does so people have no idea what they are ordering.

 

Now possibly moving to 17 would help that, but you can not use 1 click to move from 16 to 17

 

In addition back up does not work for database

so 2 years work down the drain

anyone able to help as it seems prestashop has more bugs than the amazon rain forest

Next  all items with colour or size etc goes to default when put in cart

I showed both as i think this is related in some way

 

I have searched everywhere for help, and its effecting two sites not just this one. 

Getting desperate and angry as spent a fortune on this and thousands of hours making this site

Hey pyrotech chin up

That is not so bad to think it is a all work down the drain.

 

You have error on both pages and I think it is from PayPal module. To confirm disable it then clear cache in back 

office and check those product pages again. If they work, try to see if you could remove PayPal from displayHeader hook.

And enable  PayPal and see if it is working. If not something in code is not quite right.

Before I saw javascript code error. Now it is gone but also no js file is loading now.

It is bit of mess. Try to disable cache and Smart caching option for js files.

Do you have some 3rd party module for caching ?

taken them off

i did have error just now saying js_def

i also have 3 media servers running to speed site up

 

No third part modules for cashing

 

i have put debug mode back on but not seeing any messages

the images are not changing when click on different designs, which they did before update by one click, i think they may have after update too but not 100% sure.  No errors are showing up thou so its like there must be a missing file of command so that its not seeing it as an error

 

Is there something written by program when doing attributes that with upgrade is not written in there. I also tried rebuilding attributes in modules to no avail

I think i fixed it

This was an error in footer TPL

 Seems thats enough to cause issue.

This was where a stat counter had been added in footer
