Cannot upload product image. It says "file is too large"

Hello,

 

A few months ago, I bought new theme for my webshop and installed. Since then I have issue with uploading product images.

I cannot upload any images because the filesize is 0.0 MB. I checked the upload max file and it's  

upload_max_filesize

256M

 

I'm using prestashop 1.5.3.1 

Please help me solving this issue. Your help would be appreciated!

Are you serious you are using 1.5.3.1 ? Probably a theme for 1.6. 

First recommendation is to upgrade to the last version 1.6.1.17 and maybe if it doesnt work then contact the author of the theme.
