Back Office Bug after importing product prices with eMagicstore manager

Recommended Posts

Hello

New to prestashop. Everything was going well, until this week a bug appeared in my back office. I suddenly have a "1" in the top left corner only when I go to the products link in the left hand menu.

Then when I select a prouct, the images do not show, and the drop down options are all open - not closed. The the left hand sub menus will not work, and I cannot preview a product any more. It is like there is one small error at the top, causing lots of problems later.

The only thing I have done this week is upload some new prices using the product import on eMagicstore manager. This may not be linked.

I am on 7.1.2 and tried updating to version 7.1.3 - it did not help.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. If the answer is to start again with a clean installation, what data can I save from the old installation, because I have spent many weeks adding product and making changes to the setup.

Thank you!

Scott

I installed a fresh demo version of presatshop 7 to a spare space and can now see that I need to access/edit two areas. The section <head></head> and the class "admincontent" but I am not a developer, where do I find the template or file containing what is within HEAD and that has this "admincontent" class information.

It does look like something has just glitched and is the wrong way round and just needs reverting.

Thanks!

Hello! We have checked your question thoroughly and can say that the Store Manager does not do any modifications and changes to the back-end as it works directly with PrestaShop store’s database. The issue might be related to the template and we recommend checking this with your store developer. We strongly do not recommend fixing it by yourself if you do not have enough technical skills to avoid data loss. As for the data saving from one installation and migrating to another, you can use the Store Manager’s import/export tool, you can also check this article for step-by-step guide https://www.prestashopmanager.com/useful-articles/how-to/how-to-transfer-prestashop-database-to-another-store/
