tapukatata
How can I export just products and categories data from my prestashop 1.6.x store and import to 1.7.x. I want to migrate only products and categories. Is that possible with any module or any other method ?
bellini13
have you already explored the CSV export/import function?

NemoPS
It's true it does not find anything if you search for "export" in the user guide though. You can use the sql exporter but I don't see them being easy to import into another version with that, so it might be better to use a module (like the one from MyPresta)
presta.show
Hi, You could export data from your PS 1.6 using free export module (you will find it on this forum) or XML feed generator or paid modules from store. To import to 1.7 check this module that support every CSV and XML files: Using it you could make import and update your PrestaShop catalog (products, categories, features, attributes and combinations). Using the same module, you could also integrate your shop with every warehouse or supplier.
