how to call ModuleFrontController inside in to hook

I'm new to prestashop and developing new module for carrier.

 

Calender.php

 

    class delivery_schedulercalendarModuleFrontController extends ModuleFrontController

    {

      public function initContent()

      {

        parent::initContent();

        $this->setTemplate('module:delivery_scheduler/views/templates/front/calendar.tpl');

    

      }

    

      public function run()

      {

        return 'abc';

      }

    }

 

i want to display `abc` in calender.tpl

 

     public function hookDisplayCarrierExtraContent()

        {

         //how to call `run()` function here

        }
