PrestaShop 1.7.2.1 installation - 500 error - automatic unzip not working

Hi,

 

I have download and try to install prestashop 1.7.2.1.

On my local server ubuntu 16.04 and LAMPP (XAMPP) automatic upzip and installation works fine.

 

When I uploaded same zip on my hostgator web hosting and try to install , I am getting 500 ERROR

 

I tried using 777 permission to zip file and other files but no success.

Below is my instance url.

Any idea?

Hi,

I got solution to fix this problem and want to share with community.

I was facing permissions related issues on linux web hosting.

Index.php file inside folder from zip file name prestashop_1.7.2.3.zip need 755 permission to extract zip file.

All files need 644 and folders need 755 permissions.

And it is a bad one, to give others permission to directory and files, especially on shared hosting, is pretty unsecure.
