Faceted Search Module, a suggest for developers: this module should work on every product listing pg

Just a suggestion for Prestashop developers: 

 

The native module Faceted Search works great but it has a great limit: it only shows and work on the category pages, so for example it's impossible to have it working in the search results page, and it's a real pity because this really limits the functionality of this important module.

 

So, please, is it possible to work on an updated version for this module (for PS 1.7, 1.6 and older) that supports even other pages than the category pages? Thanks
