Smarty index.php missing

I have in Advanced Parameters> Configuration Info:

Required parameters Please fix the following error(s)

Some PrestaShop files are missing from your server.
(/cache/smarty/compile/index.php)

Can I just copy the index.php file from another Prestashop 1.6.1.x installation and paste it there?
