Cant turn on Combinations

Hello,

 

I am using PrestaShop 1.6.1.2

 

For some reason I cannot turn Combinations back on when I go to Advanced Parameters > Performance

 

I have included a screenshot to show the group of the switches I speak of. It used to work. But now it doesn't. I was just wondering if anyone knew what could have possibly changed to disable this button.

Are you using multistore? If so try doing it one shop at a time.

I think I may have found the answer on my own. But I will share it just in case anyone else has this same problem.

 

I opened up the file:

controllers/admin/AdminPerformanceController.php

 

and removed the line:

'disabled' => Combination::isCurrentlyUsed(),

Saved it and reuploaded.

After that I was able to turn the Combinations OFF and ON again.

Do you have combinations already?

 

If combiantions are being used, this option is no longuer accessible.

 

I didn't have any Combinations being used, no

 

I am interested in offering Free Samples. I don't like the freesamples module and using the combinations method seems like the best choice for me.

You have not to solve problems this way.

I may cause another problem, everything is related.

 

Or at least comment out that code in case you will need it.
