Ecobuys
Hi Everyone, I am having some issues with getting my Paypal to process payments. I have a business account, verified bank account, credit card. At the very end, after I enter credit card details on Paypal end, it goes to think a bit and then spits out an error. This is the error I was getting initially: This is the error I am getting now: Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? I am pretty paranoid about this by now. I have been looking into this fr over a week. First I thought it's because I have no verified account number added but that apparently is not it. bellini13
Are you trying to pay yourself?
ciubakka
I am having the same problem. Just after clicking pay now, it gives me this error. Paypal is in sandbox mode and i'm using different sandbox accounts for buyer and seller.

ksaan
Did you guys contact either your payment module developer (so for the free module it should be agency 202-ecommerce) or paypal directly ?
ssdriver
Boy this is sure frustrating to read that there not been any response to this? I too have a verified business account.. running a brand new install of v1.7.5.0 with the Paypal v4.4.1 modules. Paypal is the sole payment method I am using. I too get the message. Error in PaypalUnexpected error occurred. The problem is, it DOES accept the customer payment if you log into your paypal account and check the payment will be there. But it does NOT email the customer anything, much less an invoice or any sort of order confirmation. (yes, i've checked the smtp settings in the configuration). It also records the paypal payment in the back end on the PDF invoice just fine. So the customer clicks and pays you with paypal and he's greeted with the above error? That doesn't make a merchant look terrible and untrustworthy does it? Anyone thats had a chargeback from paypal will understand my concern. And yes, I've reached out to paypal.. they refer you back to Prestashop..
