Email Problem after upgrade to 1.6.1.17

After I upgrade to the last version, Email from my e-commerce not working.

Any confirmation mail is not sending to customer and I not receive confirmation.

If I try to send by Contact Form, I got "There is 1 error ecc..."

If I switch from SMTP to PHP Mail working well, but I need to set SMTP with this e-commerce...

I got this bug only on 1.6.1.17, If I try the same SMTP and the same configuration on 1.6.1.16 everything works.

Please Help!

Can you post the full error message please. You can also enable DEBUG mode in your defines.inc.php to get a more detailled message. We work with 1.6.1.17 for test purpuses but we don't use SMTP as mail sending method.

Yes, looks bad. But you should format the error messages with <>. Otherwise unreadable.

You can fix the problem with the this . open contact-form.tpl in your theme and replaced everything with this code.

Many thanks for your version of contact-form.tpl.

Its solved the problem for me after my ISP dropped support for PHP 5.6 and I had to upgrade to Prestashop 1.6.1.23.

So it was still needed with

Prestashop 1.6.1.23

Hi,

I have the same error In presta 1.6.1.24 php 5.6
I don't know but now I have error when Send Email: Formulaire invalide.
I translate it : Invalid form. I don't work in catalog mode and have only and have only Email and Attach File. Have try and php 7.2 , same problem
in advanced parameters Email is set to : Use PHP's mail() function (recommended; works in most cases)
Test Email work great

can someone help me please
