Clean the table ps_loyalty

Good morning

in my shop I have been active for years:

Customer loyalty and prize v1.2.9 - from PrestaShop

 

After years the accumulated loyalty points are so many and the user to see the last has to scroll through the pages. I would like to delete the old ones and see that they are written in the table:

 

ps_loyalty

 

Do I make a mistake if I delete records from the past? Does anyone have experience?

I've never actually used the loyalty module before, and I do not believe it is a supported module anymore.

 

However looking at the module code, I believe the module does a sum of all the records for the given customer in that table.  So if you remove all the old ones, then it will effect how many points the customer has.  You can also change the module so that it does not show all of the points.

 

Perhaps instead you can show the points from the last 6 months, and then show a sum of all the points older than 6 months.
