You ask for help on here and no one helps

Prestashop is actually killing my site with SEO devastated by it

Llanguages  is the problem

A BIG PROBLEM

I had EN and GB automatically set up

Why they did that i do not know as both ENGLISH

Anyway to cancel one ruins search engine results as  search hates finding hundreds of 404 pages

Can not redirect all GB too en

When you add a product it only writes to EN so its rubbish written or nothing written in GB

so it not only looks bad but also takes lots more work per product

It used to write same to both languages but that stopped here is examples

No one able to help

To see this

then see this

http://www.worldofsh...r-split-bo.html

Previously it wrote the extras to both, but suddenly stopped doing so

I now have to change language and input it twice

any ideas, been ignored for last week?

How can i make it write tooth again or redirect gb to en

Remember that the goal of a forum is users helping users and it is not a personal support receiving by Prestashop team.

Perhaps nobody is understanding your problem. Please specify better in this case.

Language EN and GB are the same. What are you expecting to be different ? Only country localization is the difference (taxes, currency, etc. depending from country your shop is set as standard). So the only reason for to use both English language packages is for to use as standard another currency and taxes for your shop. Example: You are based in US, but your are taxing in GB. So in this case you will use US$ as standard currency, and the taxes of GB. Or vice versa.

The language packages from Prestashop only cover the standard translation variables (back-office and front-office). All other text you need to translate by yourself.

And it is normal that if you use more than one language it will not duplicate the text of your products/cms automatically to the other language. You need to add description per language you activated. Prestashop has no automatic translation integrated. If you want so, than use one of the paid modules from here: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/search?id_category=0&search_query=translation

It was copying all the information from EN to GB including the SEO but suddenly stopped doing so

See other items on shop,

Thats why i am asking

If that was the error where that should not happen, how can i redirect anything in folder Gb to folder En or remove GB without effecting SEO

Does having GB help with UK search like google.co.uk rather than google.com?

Obviously frustrated as more and more damage to SEO whilst i wait
