prestacad
I find that the modules are over priced. The demos are not well done. Buy a module and doesn't work you're stuck with it Prestashop is like a skeleton, cost you a fortune to add some meat,. easily a few thousand dollars
ELEGANTAL
I think it takes time to get into this and get enough experience on what modules to buy, how to choose the best module, etc... You need to learn how to find good quality module with better technical support.
OneAlpha
Or learn to code and write your own modules?
ELEGANTAL
Absolutely, but that would take even more time
El Patron
we were promised new option on addon's where we could set price by country. This allows module sellers to use 'by country' purchasing power. It has not yet be unveiled but I am confident that this is a good idea. Also if you are concerned with quality of modules then you may want to hire competent company to 1) review your feature requirements 2) have them recommend a module solution 3) have them install/configure. We do that work a lot and it really takes a lot of stress off client and put's on us. lol....a majority of modules need 'tuning' for any number of reasons but primarily they fail because 1) they are developed in and test on existing PS demo data. 2) compared to 1.5 demo data, 1.6/1.7 demo data has been significantly 'dumbed' down...this results in modules failing in more 'robust' environments and new ps releases breaking common things because they are not represented in demo data. happy ps'ing..el
