Timeout with combinations and attributes of products, how to relieve db call?

Hi,

 

our provider service say that prestashop have a native problem about the db table that runs when it call from combination attributes of products, so they advice us to make more relieve the products by eliminating all unuseful combinations.

Right now, we're on a shared server, but even by switching to a dedicated one, calls to DB will still be slow down until you get the timeout.

We are quite disappointed because we are just in the beginning of our business.

do you have any suggestions?
