Mailchimp integration failure

I have a problem, when I try to install the module of mailchimp the modules section is inaccessible showing this message.

 

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/home/nameweb/public_html/modules/mailchimpintegration/mailchimpintegration.php:

syntax error, unexpected '['

 

Which may be due?

it's the same for me.

when installing Mailchimintegration module I'm getting the folowing error:
[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/var/www/vhosts/cutrin.lt/httpdocs/modules/mailchimpintegration/mailchimpintegration.php:
Can't use function return value in write context

After that I'm not able to go to modules menu, because I'm getting the folowing error:
[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/var/www/vhosts/cutrin.lt/httpdocs/classes/module/Module.php(1361) : eval()'d code:
Can't use function return value in write context

If I delete folders "8c00f6ed1e0e6b082bada2bdb95c1c38" and "mailchimpintegration" from modules folder, I'm able to access the modules menu again.

 

I've asked mailchimp for help, but they don't answer...

I have solved the error updating php to version 5.6. After this I installed mailchimp and I had no problems.
