Gurnboy
Hi All I hope someone can help me. I have 2 shops and both were working fine. I had been logged in and hadn't logged out but was working on something else for about a week, and when I went back to do some work on them I got the HTTP ERROR 500. I can't access the FO or the BO. Below is the error log but I don't know what to do next. Your help would be much appreciated. Many thanks Jamie [Fri Sep 15 09:24:13.874098 2017] [fcgid:warn] [pid 5773] [client 5.65.92.248:35504] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mcrypt_encrypt() in /home/hp3-linc3-nfs2-y/060/1397060/user/htdocs/bookings/classes/Rijndael.php:51 [Fri Sep 15 09:24:13.874762 2017] [fcgid:warn] [pid 5773] [client 5.65.92.248:35504] mod_fcgid: stderr: Stack trace: [Fri Sep 15 09:24:13.874768 2017] [fcgid:warn] [pid 5773] [client 5.65.92.248:35504] mod_fcgid: stderr: #0 /home/hp3-linc3-nfs2-y/060/1397060/user/htdocs/bookings/classes/Cookie.php(334): RijndaelCore->encrypt('checksum|333075...') Gurnboy
Ok so the code has been deprecated return base64_encode(mcrypt_encrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128, $this->_key, $plaintext, MCRYPT_MODE_CBC, $this->_iv)).sprintf('%06d', $length); Any ideas on what should replace it? Or I can change the PHP version to 5.6, would this have any adverse effects to my site? Many thanks Jamie Edited September 15, 2017 by Gurnboy (see edit history)
Scully
Ok so the code has been deprecated This is correct and it does not seem to be related to the PHP version you use. According to my information RIJNDAEL encryption doesn't work anymore.
