Confirming order instead of paying at check out

I'm working on an ecommerse site where the customers are going to get manually made invoices. That means I don't need any payment options in the check out, only a "confirm order" action.

 

I've seen this on other sites but I don't know how it's done. Is it done with a setting I'm missing or a plugin? Anyone got an idea?

As already said, a payment method is mandatory. But you could still use the very simple bankwire payment with the following small changes:

 

1) Rename the payment method to "Confirm order". Can be done with translations.

2) Disable automatic email in status "Awating bankwire payment".

3) Rename the status "Awaiting bankwire payment" to something like "Order in processing" or something else.
